I have some friends visiting this month, They are here for a week, then off to Hawaii for 3 weeks, back here and then they plan to travel a bit in the US visiting parks and what not. Today was WONDERFUL so I took the opportunity to call my Dad and take them up to see Mt Rainier and Mt St. Helens in a small plane.

It reminds me of my day in the marines when they dropped me over the northern part of norway for a survival test of 3 weeks.....yikes....why the hell did I spend 8 yrs suffering?? Oh I remember...adventure!
actually I have hiked up in the summer to ~10500 ft mark on the north side with downhill skis and spent 3 days hiking for about 10 nice runs wearing shorts ! Great pics, thanks for sharing yours !

Thanks guys for looking, I know its really way OT but with things so bad I thought it might just give folks a chance to see something nice and maybe forget about the "news" for a few seconds.
