Anyone seen Carerra S wheels painted in body color (other than Black or white)? I have Lapis and think these wheels whould look great painted Lapis with the colored crest. Any opinions or better yet real or Photoshopped pictures? I did the 'build a Cayman' on the Porsche sitebut the colors are not real good. Thanks!

Having the Carrera S wheels painted in Lapis will make this car unique and, beginning with the 2007 model, having a Lapis Cayman will make this combination very rare - can you say Exclusive?.
I like body-colored wheels--always have. As long as there is more aluminum showing than the half-inch band on the painted optional 18 inchers. The entire rim seems to be unpainted in above pics. Thats good.Plan to do something with mine when it arrives. Concerned racing types will think it too poofy. But did my racing before most ofthem were born and if I like it.......
wheels painted the body color look nice,much less bling -bling than some wheels that are out there on the market.
Cool idea, but it probably will look best with the yellow calipers. The blue that close to red doesn't look too good to me ...
You really have to see it in person......in most cases it looks great. Recently my dealer had an Atlas Grey 997S with body colored Carrera S wheels.......it looked fantastic......even against the red calipers. I think some colors would not look that good though......such as Lapis, Red, etc.,.....but then again white looks very good.
