Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Overpriced imo. Expect to pay this at an OPC. As it doesn't have sat nav., you're looking at 39-40k from an indy. eg: http://www.rsjsportscars.co.uk/vehicles/porsche_911_996_c4s_coupe_36_10.htm similar, but with satnav.
That's way too over priced, you'd be paying £36-37k privately.
£31-33K Trade, £37-40K Retail
Yup... too dear even for an OPC in my opinion! That'll soon be 6 years old and would have cost about £70k new? You try getting a 60% R.V. after 6 years on a new Carrera 4S... Spec isn't fantastic either - no litronics, PCM, cruise, or electric chairs! Only extras are Bose, sports seats, small arctic pack, and metallic paint I think. I think I would expect to pay no more than £35k for that even from an OPC as 996 residuals are not what they used to be
I ve got a 9,000 Mile car for £47K £3000 more 35,000 miles less 12 months newer and of course its just been main dealer serviced and with 12 months Porsche warranty and fully detailed by the legendary G 2 owners both members of the forum and dont worry about me being in cornwall I deliver nationwide http://www.stirlings.co.uk/images/996c4s basalt.htm
> I think I would expect to pay no more than £35k for that even from an OPC as 996 residuals are not what they used to be You will struggle to get a wide-bodied 996 from an OPC for less than 40k. A quick search shows 1 at £39,995. Absolutely no chance of getting one at £35k. I also think 996 residuals are still as strong as they've ever been, ie good compared to other marques of a similar age, but poor against the gravity defying 993.
The one on the Porsche website as 3/4 mileage, better spec (electric memory heated seats, trip computer, cruise, litronics, etc) - and of course has Porsche warranty (and a fair bit of margin for a deal no doubt  ) Know which one I would choose!
the original one was also OPC and is black/black.
Ah yes, I see that now - 3rd one dowm! Black isn't my colour, but even so, it's still a bit light on spec. - especially at that money. When I bought my current car (from that same OPC) it was almost a year younger, less miles, absolute mega-spec (cost £85k when new in 1999), and less money even then: Since then, 996 values have gone through the floor... OK so it's a facelift car and a wide-body, but then so are thousands of others on the road. I guess it's good news for a lot of people on here if 996 values have stopped plummeting, but I wouldn't want to take that chance if it was me. (Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have paid what I paid for my current car either!)
To much, I paid vitually the same for a 2004 carrera 4S with 30,000 miles and have the triptronic, sat nav, memory seats and all the other bits.
I'd agree - too much, I spent less than that 14 months ago for same model year car, with better spec. and less milage. Is it a UK car - the partial leather seats make me wonder? - I thought all C16 (UK spec cars ) were full leather
I can sell you mine, its has the same spec and with sat nav and phone and more. please email me for further details [email removed]
