Hello to all! My 996 cabrio 1999 actually has 2 front wheels size 7,5jx18et50 with 225 40 18 tyres. I found for sale 2 wheels 8jx18et52 with same tyres size, looking much better than mine. The question is: do this size fit my car or maybe there could be any problem? Stefano

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have 18x8 et52 with 225/40 on the front of my 99 and they fit perfect
Those wheels/tires will absolutely fit. The wheel/tire will be a bit farther under the fender from your current setup, because of the offset difference on the wheel. This calculator will help you visualize: http://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whee...=30mm&scl=50mm
2 mm, that's less than 1/4 inch. I doubt you can really see that
Great news, thanks to all! And thanks for the configurator, too!
