I am doing an LS engine swap and need to determine the characteristics of the signal .I believe it is an AC Sine Wave but need the pulses per wheel revolution . As an FYI the VSS signal characteristics need to be programmed into the GM ECM in order to do the Emissions Drive Cycle . I have also posted on Renn Tech . Any and all input will be appreciated. Dave

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Try 48 and 96. The hub has 48 teeth https://www.ecstuning.com/ES1484854/
Thanks-by chance do you know the math to get to pulses per mile ?Apparently that's what the GM ECM is looking for .One would think that a simple google would yield results..........I have found nothing useful Dave
(5280/Total wheel circumference in feet)x48 Assuming the 48 teeth and each tooth creates a pulse Let's say the wheel circumference is 3 feet 5280/3=1760 1760x48=84,480 pulses per mile
DBJOE 996-thanks In case anyone wants to know :5,280 /6.564(225/40/18) x 48 =38,260 pulses per mile. This assumes the Bosch ABS doesn't alter the signal .Based on reading posts about other vehicles this appears directionally correct .
