Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This switch like thing is on the side of my 5-speed transmission just above and forward of the left side drive shaft flange. I can't find any reference to it in the PET or via the Audi part number 095 927 404. Help?

It should have a two wire connector.

Bizarre, I didn't see any wires, I don't see a connection point and still the car knew how fast it was going!?

As this transmission is used in more than one make of car, it may just be serving as an oil plug on yours.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
