I had someone mention to me that they have heard of stress cracks in the paint on some Caymans on the door sill about two thirds towards the back of the opening...Has anyone heard of this or seen such a hairline crack...if your car is a dark color or metalic - it might be very difficult to see? If so..what kind of driving has the car been subjected to? Just curious... Skeptically, Tom
Stress Cracks I own a Cobalt Blue Metallic CS and do not have the condition you describe nor have I heard of it before your post. Maybe others?
Never heard of this, and don't have it on my car.
I've never heard of this on any late model Porsche, nor have I seen it on any of my last three late model cars, including the Porsche. Where did you hear about this. on the (not always trustworthy) Internet perhaps? brad
