Hi all, After a few thoughts on current 996 pricing. I've had my 996 for 8 years and feel it might be time to let it go. no pictures at the moment I'm afraid (can we host them here, I can't remember?) but the spec/condition is as follows. It's a 2000 C2 coupe, manual in Rainforest Green with Savannah interior, 95k miles, tons of service history, GT3 wheels freshly refinished with brand new Michelins and brand new Designtek back boxes. Bad points are - paint is original and at 23 years old, not perfect, it's still got the original IMS and although the suspension is tight, a couple of the bushes are a little noisy over rough ground. The prices seem to be all over the place, from high milage cars needing work at £12k or so and sub 100k cars in the late teens and I'm not really sure where my car sits in there, or what they sell at, rather than asking prices that might be ambitious at best.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Manual and sub-100k miles are in its favour. Colour combo may restrict interest somewhat. I'd start at £14,995, maybe a bit higher if you're not in a hurry. Waiting until Spring might bring more potential takers. Get some nice photos done and place a free classified on here. GLWTS
I'd think long and hard about whether you really want to sell. Probably worth more to you than you'd get for it at the moment.
That's useful, thanks both - I know what you mean on the colour combo, most people seem to really like it, some hate it. I can dip my toe in listing it around where you suggest and see where I go from there. I don't have to sell it, so no point in giving it away.
You’d think so. Thanks, edited :thumb:
