Kids gave me a $100 gift card. I would like to get a book on Porsche 911's. There are over 11 pages on the Amazon site. Many (most?) seem to get poor reviews. Can some 996er's from this board let me know what book(s) might be the "best" ones - I am thinking of getting two. One as a "coffee table" - lots of cool pictures and another with more of the written word - giving a description of the 911 cars...

+1 for the essential companion, incredibly comprehensive, first book I bought when I got my 996 in 2009 and I still reference it regularly, if you are considering any DIY projects 101 projects by Wayne Dempsey is also hugely useful..
