Any recommendations for PPI near Birmingham, Alabama, and in particular for someone good who might be available to do one this week (before New Year's). I've searched other threads and called Eurasian but they are closed until 1/4/16. Thanks.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

For an Indy, I would suggest Momentum Motor Works at 2075 Old Montgomery Highway in Birmingham, Alabama. http://www.momentummotorworks.com/ DJ Schofill who works there was the PO of my current car. His wife is the VP of the Alabama Region PCA. I've never had Momentum do a PPI, but it is a VERY nice independent shop for high-end vehicles. DJ definitely knows these cars and I've spoken with several of the other mechanics and they seemed very knowledgeable. I was back in the shop on a Saturday while some of the employees were doing their own work and the shop is immaculate. Here's a direct link to their PPI services : http://www.momentummotorworks.com/#!...nspection/cgd7
you might be careful when calling; it's my understanding that Birmingham was pretty well torn-up with last week's storms/tornados, so they may not be concentrating on much right now. Of course, it may have just been a small part of the city, and may not have impacted the shop, but you might preface a phone call with something like, "I hope you're doing OK after last week...." before just launching into a request.
Only 1 small area had any damage, no where near that shop.
