Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For sale at William Francis. Who says mint green doesn't work on water cooled. Stunning IMO 8)

POST 2Original post

Will have to slowly grow on me..nice overall :thumb:

POST 3Original post

I like it but it's pretty strong money. Looking at the door shut I assume that's a wrap?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Featured in this months 911 and Porsche World Mag. Looks like a wrap. https://www.william-francis.com/cars/porsche/911/carrera/608105/

POST 5Original post

Yes it is a wrap (only done recently and could be removed). I had a few passenger laps in this at Snetterton recently. It handles unbelievably well with the upgrades to the car. Steep for a 996, but you'd need a well driven GT3/RS to stay with it.

POST 6Original post

What's going on with the gear shifter? Sequential shift ???

POST 7Original post

Not sequential but means minimal distance between wheel and shifter. The car is featured in latest 911World mag with lots more info available.

POST 8Original post

Its a 996.2 with ohlins, ducktail, cage and a wrap?

POST 13Original post

CAE shifter I'm sure works great but they look a bit gash in a road going Porsche for my taste.

POST 14Original post

https://www.william-francis.com/cars/porsche/911/carrera/608105/ Now £25k...

POST 15Original post

I was just going to say that I think the price is pretty good, before I'd seen the comments saying it started at £34k! I think at £25k it is very good value if the paint under the wrap is good. If the paint underneath is knackered then it's too expensive as a track only car and would need to be cheaper to factor in a respray.
