Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As a newbie to 911uk.com I am interested in opinion on the 'restomod' on my 996 Targa. Car's factory interior finish was Blue extended leather with painted centre console and sports seats. I have retrimmed with SOLM houndstooth from Justin Placek and had the seats back painted to match centre console/body colour. Also had seat belts rewebbed in Red to match.

POST 3Original post

That certainly lifts the interior, works well for me :thumb:

POST 6Original post

Would have kept black belts personally, but the seats look great

POST 9Original post

Looks great. Would like to do something similar

POST 12Original post

This seems to be rally well made, however imo doesn't fit the past-993 cars.. It just screams retro! and 996 is not really a retro easthetic car. But it doesn't look bad

POST 13Original post

I like it a lot lifts the normally dull 996 interior ..... Although screams of a guy who would buy matching luggage :?:

POST 14Original post

Love it! I have something similar from Classic FX.
