I just noticed that the new 911 models (S, 4S and as of today S and 4S cab) have PDK standard and no option for a manual transmission. Did I miss an an announcement? Seems like a pretty big deal for Porsche to eliminate the third pedal on their halo car.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As the story says, the manual will be coming, probably in conjunction with the release of the non-S versions. BTW, that Jalopnik review seriously sucked.
