Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I wonder if my 981 will be my last ICE powered car.
This really isn't anything new. Porsche's annual reports have been indicating that ice engines are on the way out, and it is logical that the 911 would be the last to change.
The CEO said this last year in the 2017 Annual Report. "Mr Blume, let’s look into our crystal ball for a moment. When will we see the last Porsche with a combustion engine? I would venture to predict that, by 2030, the sportiest Porsche will have an electric drive. Who knows – maybe by then even our iconic sports car, the 911, will be electric." That article refers to: https://insideevs.com/porsche-911-last-car-electric/ (of course they don't have an agenda) which refers to an Oz website: https://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/porsche-electric-sports-cars-coming-soon-119205 which is original source material. What's more funny is the CEO allegedly refuted it, also in the EV blog https://insideevs.com/porsche-911-will-never-be-electric-says-ceo/ "... according to a report by industry outlet Automotive News Europe, Porsche’s star attraction will never go all-electric. ... Oliver Blume, the German carmaker’s CEO, reportedly said at the company’s annual results conference that such a car would never be made. "
Nothing like Internet **** to cloud the truth and the crowd doing what they always do... be sheep and never seek facts. Thank you Chows for still knowing what is real vs click bait..
Well said and true
EU bureaucrats have called for phase out of internal combustion engines/cars by 2030-2040.
