Can anyone tell me what amp hour battery is required for a 2000 996 tip? The reason I ask is that I have a new 60 amp hour battery stored away and was hoping that would be sufficient.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Should be 70Ah, but 60Ah would probably be OK. Depending on cold cranking amps, it might struggle in winter, but if it was me I would give it a go and see how it copes.
Thanks Richard, I'll give it a go, there can't be many more cold cranking days left, we're due a heatwave apparently!
