I am trying to do the side flasher mod. on 03 C2. Problem is that there is not much room to do splices. On passenger side in frunk there is large white connector that I would like to open to give me more wire room. It has a rectangular piece on top that pulls up about 1/4 inch but I cannot open connector. Or I could try to do splice in headlamp comp. but cannot figure out how to remove floating white female connector that headlamp plugs in to. Need to remove it to get wire slack for splice connection. Any ideas??? RBC

That mod is for older car and doesn't answer my problem.

Link above was done on a '99, I am not aware of any drastic/major change in the side markers from that year to your MY. Anyway, best of luck to you.
Could I do this to my Canadian market car?
Kromdom, thanks for your replies. the 03 seems to have gone to one single plug on drivers side with bundle to passenger side. Not much slack in wires to perform surgery. don't know about canadian car. Open it up and see what it looks like. RBC
Awhile back I was trying to do the same mod to my 03 C4S and ran into a problem (which ended up as a result of my doing too much thinking and not just following the instructions). This is the thread I posted about my issue- http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...l-problem.html For some strange reason, although I am logged in to Rennlist I cannot access that link which I listed in my initial post. However, I believe that I printed it out, and if you also cannot access that DIY thread in the Rennlist gallery, PM me your email address and I'll send you a copy.

Colcurt, thanks. I found one of your posts about removing white connector. I may try that. I will try to make my splices in the frunk just because of all the water that seems to get in headlight comp. RBC
I really like this mod. Theres a nice DIY I can do when the weather gets warmer. Thanks for your postings. I still have the amber type which I feel would look better than clear if used in unison with the flashing unit.
Completed mod. yesterday. I look at this mod. as a safety issue. I figure the more lights you have flashing at an intersection the better. On the right side I opened wire bundle in frunk and spliced into black/green, on left side I spliced into small black/white just behind white plug in frunk. A fair amount of water can get in to headlight comp., whereas frunk is pretty much water proof. The trick to opening white plug on right side is that you must pull the rectangular cap about 2" in order to separate plug. With plug separated you can get some slack wire to install splice. Do it! You will like it! RBC
IMO, leave them amber unless your car has a reddish hue.....
