Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Interesting test for PSM this morning- driving over some very icy road (flood bit that had frozen) round a gentle bend (with a clear view!) I accelerated hard for a second; immediately, the PSM cut in, guiding the car round the bend, but in a remarkably unobtrusive way. This contrasts with other occasions when I have tweaked the throttle on dry or wet surface, and the PSM seems to allow a good degree of slippage before cutting in, again not that you'd notice, you just feel like a driving god! In normal road driving, I've never had the light come on. The clever thing about it is how it can differentiate between when you're just having fun, and when you are potentially in trouble. Just goes to show, in my opinion, these driver aids really do not detract from the driving experience at all, and may just save your bacon one day...
