<h4>Porsches galore from Finland's Valmet Automotive</h4> 12.10.2005 at 16:49 Valmet Automotive is stepping up its production at the Uusikaupunki car factory, and increasing the number of its staff to 1,100 by the end of November. Along this autumn, the facility, known for making Porsches, has already re-employed a good hundred employees it had suspended earlier on. The facility is taking on another 150 totally new employees, who are currently in training. According to Valmet Automotive spokesperson Teija Åhlman, the hiring follows stepping up car production from 100 per day to some 150 per day.
