Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

my passenger seat tilt mechanism is playing up and causing grief... when i lift the release handle, i have to force it up a few extra mm to get the seat to tilt... only one handle works... the other one just moves up and down without doing anything... how can i get at the mechanism to have a look... the cables/levers inside have probably lengthened/broken... anyone with any previous experience or photos would help me greatly...

POST 2Original post

There is a cable running down each side of the seat between the levers and the hinge point of the backrest. You need to take the seat out and take off the seat back shell to get to the cables. If you would like some instructions, drop me an email and I'll attach them to a reply.
