Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

2006 Porsche Cayman S . I found it loose, shoved behind the entertainment cluster. No part numbers on it. Looks like some kind of air vent channeling?

POST 2Original post

The tabs does not appear to be broken, have you tried to put it back? But you will have to get on your knees..

POST 3Original post

I didn't see where it came from haha. It was just loose behind the head unit.

POST 4Original post

Strip of foam, part of the HVAC? Floor diverter mating up on foam line? Wild guess.

POST 5Original post

Part of the Footwell vent, Item #3 IN Diagram 813-001. You should be able to reattach it without issue.

POST 6Original post

Yeah, that goes on the back of the plastic trim around the footwell 12v port.
