Hi, I am looking for a second hand Cayman and would like cruise. As this is not a very common option, does anyone knww if it can be retro-fitted. If so do any of the specialists sell installation kits?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Is this not standard? It's standard on the 2008's as a minimum.
Cruise control came standard on my '07 base model Cayman.
Unless Porsche is doing something different in Ireland, cruise is standard on all Caymans in the U.S. Retrofitting would require installing the column stalk and programming the car for cruise at a minimum, that is if the wiring is all there, if the wiring harness were different then you'd have to change that too and the price would immediately jump from the hundreds to the thousands to do that type of install. If you go to the new car configurator for Ireland do cars not have cruise by default?
Cruise isn't standard on Uk and Ireland cars.
