Does anyone else have this issue? Splattering of oil around the side air intakes and on the rear of the car. Any suggestions?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello SRAWORLD, The area around the side intakes tends to pick up splatter from the front tires. The rear of the car, as in most vehicles, is a low pressure zone where particulates that travel over, around or under your car will stick to the rear vertical surface. If I was experiencing your situation, I'd keep an eye on my power steering fluid level, as well as all other fluids until resolved. Do you repeatedly travel a road that may be messy with something? Regards, Joe
Thanks Joe, All roads in the UK are messy! I will keep an eye on my levels and ask the dealer next time it goes in. All good things.
I've had oil on the US passenger side(right side) after tracking the car as well as some big *** clouds of white smoke when I restart the car after a few high G laps. I believe its normal. If it happened on street driving I'd be more concerned. G.
