Hello Everyone: I am a new Porsche owner, I have 3 questions. 1. is there a way to easily add the PASM feature to a Cayman S that does not have it? 2. I would also like to add BiXenon Head lights and I saw these on Ebay eBay.ca: GE 9000K XENON D1S HID BULBS PORSCHE Cayman Cayenne (item 250185682568 end time 16-Nov-07 00:57:00 EST) are they any good? 3. Does anyone know anywhere I can get an online owners manual?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1. adding PASM - no, you need an entirely different wiring harness 2. I don't know. Search BiXenon in this forum. You can't do this with bulbs only. Xenon headlamps utilize a high voltage discharge lamp with a separate power unit to convert the 12volts from the battery/alternator to the required voltage. 3. Go to the files section here at CaymanClub.net. You'll find both the '06 and '07 manuals there.
There have been many members who've added aftermarket Xenons. There have been problems with the LCM (light control module) reporting bad bulbs. And aftermarket kits are not nearly as nice as the factory BiXenons. The factory BiXenons use one bulb and a electromechanically moved mirror/reflector. This allows you to have Xenon low and high beams. This is hard to accomplish with separate bulbs the way halogens work because Xenon bulbs need some time to come up to temp and give full brightness (10 seconds or so). There is also a halogen bulb in the factory BiXenons for use as passing lights, once again, the Xenon bulbs can't come up to temp fast enough for passing lights. Also, the factory BiXenons are self leveling, so adjustment is never needed. You will also likely find that the reflector / diffusion pattern on the factory BiXenons is better than stuffing a Xenon bulb into a halogen reflector / diffuser. So, in summary, you can certainly do an aftermarket kit, and it is likely to be better than the halogens, but not nearly as good as the factory BiXenons which happen to be fantastic. On PASM. Anything is possible, but this would be very costly and difficult to add after the fact. As mentioned already, each Porsche gets a unique wiring harness that contains only the wires needed for that car and it's equipment. So you would have to add wiring, the control module, the switch, the dampers, different sway bars, and so on. This would be very expensive and pretty much cost prohibitive. BiXenons are very good! PASM is also VERY good if you never want to do anything like upgrade to Motons...but my suggestion is trade the car in on the one that you really want and just eat the difference...(sooner the better or depending the longer you wait the better...) I went throught this process after getting hit hard in the rear of my first Cayman and after getting it "fixed" traded it on the one with the options that I realy wanted...and in the end it was cheaper than trying to modify the one I had with the other options that I wanted.... Never been happier! my $.02
