Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

my dad just bought a cayman in brasil with navigation, but since the porsche navigation does not have files for the country he wont be using it. Is it easy to take out all of the compontes (antenna, dvd module, speed nut, wires ect) or does it get complicated? has anyone retrofited navigation into their pcm? thanks a lot!

POST 2Original post

I had my Cayman S retro-fit with PCM 2.1 by a Porsche Dealer. It took about 5 hours to install & test everything. The hardest part was putting the wiring harness through from the PCM 2.1 to the Nav unit in the front. FYI, if you are interested in the Stock Cr24 unit. I have it ready to be shipped.

POST 3Original post

POST 5Original post

As soon as the correct MOST cable comes in for me I will post up my article on adding navigation to PCM. There are some items to look out for, but teh install isn't too hard.
