Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What should I expect to get for a: carerra 4s 2004 on a 53 plate PCMII PSA Bose system 6 CD player Sat Nav Electric memory seats seal grey All tyres 6mm on 9 months warrenty remaining 34,800 miles 111 point check at OPC and clear bill of health in Nov 07 It is getting all the wheels refurb as they have a few very mall marks on them, the MOT is due on 25 January which I am getting done and the 36,000 mile service which it is booked in. The only reason I am thinking of it is I want a GT3 and have found one. I am just trying to get an idea on what they sell for. Many thanks for your thoughts

POST 2Original post

Good spec, colour and mileage, with warranty. Got to be early 40s??

POST 3Original post

I too would have thought very late 30's but in good condition early 40's. If you are selling privately would be happy to offer the buyer a finance package.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If i got £41,000 it is worth my time. The bodywork is near perfect so I was hoping for around that, but I think the time it will take to sell I may miss this one. I can not get the car sorted until 2 weeks time so will have to see, thanks

POST 5Original post

prob will go for £10k, i`ll do you a favour and give you £12k for it! deal done? depends on condition. around £37-42k depends on the market. have a look around.

POST 6Original post

I think the valuations given already on the money.....but I'll give you £15K for a quick sale

POST 7Original post

Have just e-mailed a client of mine that is looking for either late 996 C4S or early 997 C2S.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Jamie and the rest of you with your generous offers, what can I say

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

forgot to say triptronic as well, Got it all booked in for 21/1 for service and mot and then think I will put her up and see what happens. If it does not go no big problem the GT3 will have to wait

POST 11Original post

i own a tiptronic only 3 months so still a newbie and keep wondering if i should of gone for the manual or not , sorry to steal your thread, nice spec car will have no problems selling i would of thought in the low 40's no problem

POST 12Original post

Cheapest 53 plate manual at an OPC is £43,795 with another 10k miles on it and less spec. So with Porsche warranty, just serviced and MoT I would have thought you ought to get over £40,000 for it as long as it's sensible colours inside and out.

POST 13Original post

I think 38kish on my experiences. I could probably put 2k in value on it. It really is a buyers market at the moment.

POST 14Original post

Less of an issue for C4S's but not quite as desirable as a manual. So £39-40k ish? Put it up for sale and see how you get on.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for all your replies but just come across something that stops me thinking of selling the car. GT3 only have 2 seats. I have to swap cars with the wife for when I go away on business and we need the seats for the kids school run. The business milage at times can be a lot and I do not want to put that on my car. I am not going to buy another car. If I had known I would have never had kids Many thanks Richard
