Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Having had my Boxster for nearly a week I have a (hopefully) simple question about the stereo. It a totally standard CDR22 head unit with a CD changer in the boot and I was wondering if there is any way of hooking it up to my iPhone? I don't really want to change the head unit as I kind of like the originality of the car (it's 13 yrs old and pre dates iPhones I think) but would like to have my cheesy tunes to hand. Any ideas please......? M.

Thanks very much. I didn't think it would be that simple. I'll get one ordered! M.

I have a 987.1 cayman S and would like to do the same thing (attach the iphone to it) but I have never seen a USB port in the car so perhaps this wont do for my car. Anyone know otherwise? JM
