Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Is this normal on these especially after washing the car the rust drips down from the center hub onto my rims amd creates a nasty puddle. Does anyone else experience this? [/IMG]

POST 3Original post

those are all complaints of rotors. Mine is just the center hub and it is only on my drivers rear and passenger front. the other two are black like new.

POST 4Original post

Another thing that might help is to wash the car and avoid hosing the wheels. I trickle water into the wheels and with car wash mitt and NXT car wash soap I gently wipe off any grime; then dry. Rust is minimized so that when you take it for a spin, as K Man does, very little rust is spewed to the interior rim.:2cents:
