I have noticed that the rear window seal on my '98 C2 is coming loose in several places. It does not appear to be letting in any water, but I would like to sort it out. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what is the best way to fix it? Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It is a common problem on early 996 front and rear screens - mine included. There is a kit you can get from Porsche which is a foam rubber cord that fits under the seal and stops it moving around. If you would like details, drop me an email.
