Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A colleague of mine has a 2003 Boxter S with the PCM module. He wants to find out which version of PCM he has, and is sure there is a combination of key strokes you can enter to display on the screen whether he has PCM 1 8 bit or 16bit. Anyone have any ideas? I understand we're not Boxster experts here........

POST 2Original post

PCM1 was upgraded from an 8 bit unit to a 16 bit unit in 2001/2002. you can tell if you have a 16 bit unit by looking at the map disc that you currently use. On the outer edge there is a number T1003805. If you have this number then you have the 16 bit version.

POST 3Original post
