Well, i`ve owned the car for a couple oof months now so I thought it was time I started making a few changes. The first was a genuine Porsche Sports Suspension set up with four shocks, four springs and front and rear anti roll bars. This lowered the car by 10mm and it feels much tighter and firmer without being any harsher on the road. All brand new and bagged off eBay for the princely sum of £360 :thumb: This is it after the lowering. Unfortunately I have not really got a before pic :nooo: The second mod was a different set of wheels. The old GT3`s are hard to keep clean and I really fancy the smooth 5 spoke wheel. Before Another browse through eBay and along came a mint set of Carrera`s with Michelin PS2`s on with plenty of life left in them. The start price was £550. I waited with crossed fingers in the hope no one would bid and when they never, I offered a cheeky £400 and he took it They are 8" wide on the front but do not catch at all. Right, lets get back on eBay and see what I can find next !!!

Hi, Looks very nice for the lowering and the Carrera 5 spokes. Out of interest, are these 997 or 996 alloys? I've been looking on a daily basis now (for a couple of months) .... but I can never find any genuine 996 18" Carrera alloys for sale (only 997 Carrera's or 996 SportDesign/Turbo II)....surely someone wants to upgrade their wheels!!!
Hi GD These are 997 wheels. The rears have been pushed out slightly and the fronts could do with 5 mm spacers I think just to push them out a little. They are so much easier to clean
