Seem to be at least two outfits selling these. Oettle and Somerfield tuning. The Oettle unit is on ebay at £320 plus £20 P&P. Somerfield is selling them for £190 plus £22 P&P. Seems that the difference is Somerfield require your own exhausts and then modify it and stainless steel coat it. I know from archives that the Oettle/Autodienst units have been favourably reviewed on here but has anyone experience of the Somerfield tuners? Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Should add for correctness its Sommerfeld and not the Anglicised version I have posted above. And a closer look at ebay shows he also does sell them without exchange for £300 plus £20 p&P link:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Porsche-911-9...eZWD1VQQtrksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem
Andrew, i think the main difference is the choice of size of bypass pipe. big, bigger or ohmygodmyearsarebleeding. I've got the Oettle and am very impressed. Even more so after taking clive out on sunday with the top off and hearing the lovely low down burble and more race car like howl at higher revs... very impressed in the value stakes too...
Cheers Tim, which size of bypass did you get? I would tend towards the lower end of the scale which on the Sommerfeld scale is 105db.
