Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Considering buying JTs front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, and ducktail spoiler for my 06’ Cayman . Please post pics and share your feedback on the product quality and DIY install difficulty. Thank you!

POST 2Original post

I have these parts but haven’t had time to install them. The quality looks great and install seems to be straight forward. I’ll post once I get it done.

POST 3Original post

Sounds great! Please do post the install and any before and after pics. I’ve seen a few videos on YT and the fitment is spot on, better than most aftermarket kits. Are the parts made of urethane or fiberglass? This has always been a concern for me as they’re positioned lower on the vehicle and over time could be damaged during driving. KBD makes an awesome urethane front lip and side skirts, but no spoiler or rear diffuser/valance

POST 4Original post

Bump. Anyone? There has to be someone out here who’s picked up something from JT! Haha

POST 5Original post

@SayiWont Wow, looks so good!! Thank you for posting these pics! This kit looks much better than the Maxton ones

POST 6Original post

I got his stuff on every corner of the car. Front rear and side skirts

POST 8Original post

I have Joe’s front lip and ducktail spoiler on my 08 Boxster . Installation was a breeze for both and they look great. Well made products.

POST 9Original post

What are those side vents and piece over the convertible top? Did you paint the duck bill or how was the finish on it? Mine runs peppy now and I may tinker with the outside.

POST 10Original post

The side vents are from CSR Automotive in Germany. They don’t sell directly to the US, so I reached out to Design 911 in the UK. They were able to get them for me. The piece over the convertible top is a hard tonneau that‘s available from a few different places. I bought mine years ago and opted to have it made in carbon fiber. The duckbill is finished in the black gel coat, done by Joe Toth. The same for the splitter. I’ve painted splitters before and they always got chipped up. I’ve had this splitter for more than a year now and it looks good as new.
