I've heard some reports that the cayman doesn't have much headroom. I'm more concerned about legroom. How tall are you exactly and do you have worries worries about the cayman being too small for you?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am 5' 9', obviously no concern here.
All the reviews I've read say that with the domed shape of the roof there is plenty of headroom. One article even went as far to say they thought it had been designed to have enough room to wear a crash helmet ! I'm 6' 1' and don't expect to have any problems - even with my crash helmet on !
5' 8'.......no worries here.......hope I can see over the dash though!
I'm vertically challenged so I take offense to this question! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/tounge_smile.gifseriously though, no problems here..
I'm 6"2, 6"3 in the mornings I hope leg room is OK. Not so much worried about headroom just I don't want my knees jammed up under the steering wheel.
I'm only 5'11', but I have the torso of someone who is 6'6' (and short legs). I'm worried about helmet room (couldn't fit in my 996).
5'11" here.
Someone on Rennteam kindly posted these factory headroom numbers: Effective headroom, front (mm/in) MY06 Cayman S = 959/37.8 MY06 Boxster S = 972/38.3 MY06 911 Carrera = 974/38.3 (w/o sliding roof), 966/38 (w. sliding roof)
I am a mere 5' 17', but I fit into most Porsches.
I'm 6'4'. I've heard opposite, where headroom is no problem with the big domed top and no sun roof. It's leg roomit's alittle short on. I sat in an 05 Boxster and it wasn't too bad, but I'll admit itwould be more comfortable if I were a little shorter.I'm really motivatied to fit though!
I am 6 '3' and have driven an 986 boxster S for 6 years. The caymans leg room will be the same as the 987 which is actually a noticable difference from the 986. You definitely get used to it, and i am looking forward for the upgrade in space with the cayman.
6' here and that should be just right.
I'm 6 foot even and I fit into a Boxster easily. As I understand it, the Cayman has more headroom than the Boxster.
I'm 6'1' and sat in the Cayman at the Frankfurt motor show. Had about 2-3 inch of headroom - plenty...unless you're in sport mode on 19' wheels in the UK /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/whatchutalkingabout_smile.gif
What about legroom? do the seats go back far enough? I don't want my knees jammed up under the steering wheel
Leg room same as Boxter. They go back fine. The sport steering wheels are smaller in diameter than the standard so that might give you a little bit extra
6'1 and i can get comfortable in a boxster, also with this car you dont want to be lying down.
6' and the Boxster &/or 911 fit great so would think the Cayman S will be perfect fit.
