Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've seen some Boxsters with this but new option for the 911. https://www.renn27.com/ I had a B5 Rs4 with this engine and what a beast it is. I'm surprised how much it sounds like a 911. I loved that engine but it was coupled to the 4wd and even then it struggled a bit as mine was 500bhp, however it took the abuse well. I'm intrigued.

POST 2Original post

intriguing indeed! :thumb: I'm not a fan at all of V8 LS swaps but this seems to suit the car better. Was waiting to hear the noise under load but didn't seem to be in that vid Be interested to hear rough costs to swap (inc motor) for a comparison against any decent m96 rebuild :thumb:

POST 3Original post

Very interesting. I had the 2.7T in an allroad, it was a hell of a unit. I know with different injectors and some ecu coding you could increase the power considerably while making the curves incredibly linear. Sound is very Porsche as well.

POST 5Original post

This is a mighty build thread I got most of the way through earlier this year. Time to catch up I think...

POST 6Original post

Interesting that these guys have put together a package for this. Does seem a good fit for the car but I would prefer a n/a screamer...

Yep, 60 pages :floor: Pls can you summerise for us

POST 8Original post

Man puts S4 V6 into Boxster, turns wick up to 500bhp, car goes like stink. Many trials and tribulations along the way.

POST 9Original post

Awesome high level summary - thanks  :thumb: Missed one headline - circa costs :hand:
