The original auto-dimming mirror on my 02 C4S had become hazy and brown, so I purchased a replacement from Pelican Parts. I decided to go with an OEM non-dimming version since I didn't like the chunky plastic border on the original, but the replacement has a noticeable wave to it (almost like the magnification is different in the center). Can somebody with a non-dimming mirror let me know if it's supposed to be like this? Didn't notice it on the dimming version and I honestly find it distracting. Wondering if maybe I got a faulty piece of glass.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

That is not how my mirrors are. Call Pelican Parts and ask them.
My car came with auto dimming mirrors and I replaced them with these Asperical mirrors: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/9X6AMS.html I had a set for my previous car (BMW) and they were one of my first upgrades. With these you have no blind spots.
Figured it out. I had the mirror snapped in without it seating into all the little clips in back. I guess it was bending the mirror just enough to give it a slight wave in the reflection.
