Seems that I rhave taken a stone through the ambient temperature sensor (its tiny, talk about bad luck...) and its now reading all over the place. Have tried a bit of googling, but it seems to throw up a lot about other temperature sensors and not the one I'm after - other than a few vague bits on a US forum. Does anyone have any idea how to get in and replace it (bumper off job?) and a part no. - the only one I can find is an eBay jobbie...

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
