Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I have one of the two License plate lights out, the bulb is good but no power to the socket, the other one is working? Is there a plug on the socket and how do you get to it? 08 Cayman S

POST 2Original post

Just curious, did you ever find a solution to this? I'm experiencing the same issue on my 07 Cayman S.

POST 3Original post

I had this problem and it turned out one of the pins in the connector of the failed light was loose or bent (can’t remember). It was easy to put it in the right place so it lined up and now I have 2 license plate lights.
