Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all I have a 2002 C4S with the metropole blue interior. My centre vent is showing signs of wear but I cannot tell if it's the plastic or leather variant to get a replacement. Does anyone have the leather option on theirs and is there a discernible difference? Do you have a photo you can maybe share? Thank you

POST 2Original post

If you remove it (dead easy - just unclips), then you'll see the back of it. If it's leather, you will see it folded over the back like so:

POST 4Original post

Mine is in leather..Metropole blue... I don't think a close up photo would help you.. I'm pretty sure the telltale of extended leather is if the steering wheel airbag is leather covered.. The stitching on the airbag is the give away Hope that helps Johnny
