Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Back in the day when I had a 911S the factory service manuals were invaluable. Does anybody know if factory service manuals can be acquired for the Cayman?

POST 4Original post

+1 (does that make +2?) This is the first car I have owned in my life for which I do not have a shop manual. I was told that everything is on-line, and to access the info I would have to buy access to the on-line system (mucho $$$). Please PM me or post where a hard or digital copy can be had, thanks!

POST 5Original post

+1 (does that make +3). Sonny, could you please PM me the info too? Thanks.

POST 7Original post

Could you PM me also? What is better than knowing what makes it tick? Knowing where to place the stethoscope would help when she is not feeling good

POST 9Original post

The original question was: OK, so it's a copyright violation to tell us if/where they can be acquired? I'm not looking to steal anything, I'd rather purchase legally.

POST 10Original post

No of course, not. I was referring to posting the manual w/out permission. Telling where to buy it it is, of course, fine.

Here is a place to start. https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinfo/index.jsp

POST 13Original post

The Porsche tech site only has the PDF version of the parts program. Its better than nothing but doesn't compare to the actual dealer version and doesn't have any inforamation on service, maintance or.... The workshop manuals used to be available online at $110.00 plus sales tax, per section and there were 10 sections, plus wiring diagrams, plus OBDII info, Plus per section ( and again 10 sections) for TSBs,,, Now Porsche has removed any and all info. If you are serious about getting the workshop manuals PM or email me and I can help you.

POST 14Original post

I can vouch for porschelibrarian -- he can definitely help you out.
