I'm in the process of building a 987.1 race car with a 987.2 powertrain. Does anyone know what we'll have to do to get the car to start- IE- do we need a key that matches a security unit/immobilizer box?

I suspect they -- the key and the PAS module -- need to be coded together. But not sure of the necessary gymnastics. May want to do some exploring with a PIWIS.
