Every now and again, maybe once every 3 months, the stereo will not switch off when I turn the ignition off. I have to switch the ignition back on and then off again and this sorts it out. Hardly a major inconvenience or a worry but wondered if anyone else had this?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Mine stays on when I take the keys out but switches off when I open the door. I assumed that this is a 'feature' rather than a problem!!
Hi Dave yes mine does, if I'm on the phone (Bluetooth to Radio) and I turn off the ignition, when I finish the call off I simply hit the off button on the radio to disconnect / switch off - I'm sure this is a feature though. - Simon
Terry just wants you to listen to some more of his namesake on Radio 2
mine does same so must be a clever idea? feature who knows
when I turn the ignition off, the stereo (CDR32) stays on for about 1 second, then turns itself off. My Boxster (CDR22) did exactly the same. it's as if it's a feature, rather like the slow opening ash tray.
i've had this too but only very occasionally - not a problem me thinks :thumb:
