Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

How i can stop my rear wing goes up after the 120km/h?

POST 2Original post

You could pull the fuse, but that may affect other circuits. I would be cautious about doing so though as I do believe that it goes up to reduce lift on the back end above those speeds. I don't think its going to be a big issue if you only do 130 and take curves reasonably but Audi had to retrofit the TT when it first came out as it experienced high speed instability. And if you ever did get into an accident, the computer data and the lack of fuse would be good fodder for a lawyer. What is driving you to think about doing this?

POST 3Original post

Because sometimes i race my car with faster cars and i believe that my rear wing cuts some km at the high speed...I want that only for the straights..so how i can do this?

POST 4Original post

Why don't you drop in a sports air filter instead for $50 and get 8 HP? That seems a better thing than playing with the fuses.

POST 5Original post

I agree with Interpol - you are searching for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist - the spoiler and wing create some air turbulence at the rear of the car that makes some downforce at speed - the wing itself is not really big enough to cause very much drag, not enough that your motor can't overcome it. It's better for you to have the downforce at speeds over 120kmh. brad

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-33YmJjIvHk Watch this video..my car has 250km..so i need the maximun that i can take... Maybe the rear wing at this speed cut some km... I allready desnork my cayman I have also evom intake and tubi exhaust..

POST 7Original post

I watched the video... I doubt the wing cuts your speed any... brad

I did 155 in a cayman S tiptronic at an airfield the other day. Not my car like. But thought I'd mention it. It was a 1.7 mile straight, so with braking distance, etc, took a while to get there.
