Hi there! As this is my first posting here I want to say hello from Germany and congratulate you to this forum! Now to the topic: I want to try to install the original TPMS as I was able to figure out that not too many parts are needed (four sensors in the tires and four antennas, one electronic control unit and mounting material). The price is acceptable roundabout 1k EUR and now I am just wondering if someone here knows where to plug the control unit (is the harness already there or does it need to be installed?) and where exactly to locate the wires. The catalogue with the original parts did not show a harness for the TPMS so I assume it is already there... If someone has a workshop manual or some insight in the TPMS and can pass me some additional information I would highly appreciate! So long, Thomas.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Some time ago I posted some information on that in the files section here that should help. http://www.planet-9.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=80
Yes I have seen that but if I remember right that is about the sensors in the tires and not the antennas and the control unit in the car itselft.
If you car did not come equipped with TPMS then I am guessing that the existing harness will not work. Someone else may know for sure but my understanding is that each car has a harness that is specific to the options on the car.
I have wanted to add TPMS to my 2006 CS also but have not gotten a clear answer to adding TPMS. One comment was that a new wiring harness is needed which would be cost prohibitive.
I have looked into this also and purchased one of the workshop manuals which discusses the installation/removal of the TPMS. The Control Module "is located beside the brake booster in the luggage compartment," but the wiring for each of the antennas is probably not present. As others have stated, the wiring harness for each car is made depending on what options are installed. You may want to check to see if there is a wiring harness by the brake booster.
This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
