Morning all I need some advice on the experience of the forum, I have a 2002 996 C2 with 86,000 miles, serviced in February with a major service not driven much since. Over the course of last few weeks it's developed a fault where it cuts out when warm (randomly) and a he's quite grumpy on idle, and start up an idle. Also occasionally stutters on acceleration. In addition it starts fine from cold but when warm seems to take longer to turn over and stet up. These all seem to be mass airflow faults when I've googled it, I popped into my local Porsche/ German specialist this morning, and he said it came up with an error code rpm indicator/sensor circuit fault Has anyone got any ideas what this may be? He's not familiar with that fault so he's waiting to hear from the people who provide the diagnostic services for more detail but I thought I would ask for a first? Anyone who can provide any advice it would be most welcome Thanks Tom

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
