Whenever I wash my car, or even drive through small puddles there seems to be quite a bit of water collecting on the door stills. Water gets as far as the plastic door sills but doesn't get into the cabin. I'm even starting to get a water spot on the plastic door sill where the water drips from the bottom of the door. Is it normal for so much water to get that far? Sorry, if this is a dumb question but this is my first Porsche so I'm not sure what is normal with these cars. Thanks!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yes, don't worry about it.
Thank You! That's what I was hoping.
When you finish drying the outside of the car, open the doors and dry everything you see around the doors and sills that's wet, including the bottom of the doors, which you probably won't see as being wet.
Water seeps past the exterior window seals & runs down inside the doors draining out through the door bottom drain holes. That's normal & why the door has drain holes. Depending on how much water has gotten into the doors, you may find new seepage hours after you've dried everything. The cabin, however, should remain dry.
Happens to me too. That part of the door sil is outside of the seal (if memory serves).
Totally normal.
