Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Yes if a brand spanking new one is put in.
Assuming it's a brand spanking new unit from Porsche? then definitely yes, it wouldn't put me off one bit, some would see it as a real positive.
Brand spanking new from Porsche in Feb 08 It has balance of 2 year warranty. The car has covered just over 50k though?
What's the condition of the rest of the car? Does it drive like almost like a new one? When was the clutch, brake discs replaced?
My 04 996 C4S has done 46000 miles. Still looks like new, drives very well, use it every day, it's reliable and i look after it. Whats the problem with high mileage on that basis?
Want to sell it

Sounds a reasonable proposition to me. Hopefully they fitted a new clutch etc when they had the "lump" out. Regards Big Bob
