Hi, I have recently been looking at 996 911's. I currently own a VX220 turbo which I love to bits but the longer I own it the more I lust for a little more refinement. I realise that I do not have enought cash (I have about £25k ish) to buy a 911 that will keep up with my VX to 100 or on a track for that matter (GT3's, Turbos etc) so I have accepted the lesser performance (not to say in any way Carrera's are slow, just my car is a track tart ) for the refinement and the prestige of the marque. I live in the north east and was wondering if anyone could take me out (in a C2 or C4) for a spin so I can get an idea just how good these cars are. Many Thanks Steve

Hi I'm finalising the sale of my father's house in Beamish, so I'm up in the Chester le Street area on a regular basis. I can always come up in my 996 C2 (+ a few extras) to do a visit to see my father.
