Hi, I have just joined the forum and apologise now if i have posted in the wrong section. I have a 2002 carrera 4 and the drivers window on opening and closing has just started to have a problem in that the window doesn`t stay in the partially down position for closing.. Has anyone encountered this problem ? Cheers, Lee.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Yes I have. It is a micro switch in the door locking mechanism. Mine was covered under warranty but if you don't have one it is going to cost you around £330. Good luck
