I have a 2003 C2 Tip with only 21k miles. It has a full OPC history, but since it's now approaching it's 5th birthday, do I really need to be paying top whack hourly rates to keep an OPC stamp in the book? The C2 is now my daily drive, and will be doing about 10k miles per annum. The next service will be due in August, and should "just" be the 12k service, since it had the 4 year/48k biggie before I bought it. Which is the right (or wrong) time to move from OPC to an independent dealer for scheduled servicing? Come to that, is there a reputable independent anywhere near the M4 west of Reading but still in England? I'm in the Bristol/Bath area and the closest I can find to date is DG Autotech in Bridgend (good coverage in May's 911&Porsche World) - do any forum members have experience of these guys? Any thoughts appreciated.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Dont know how close to Devizes you are but Steve Bull has a good reputation, helped me out a couple of times with minor issues....
If I didnt have the Porsche warranty, there is no way on gods earth you would catch me at my local OPC. I get it serviced there cos I havent got the time to service it at an indy, and also take it to OPC for warranty work. I think a stamp from a very well known and respected Porsche indy is just as good (sometimes better) than an OPC stamp.
Northway at Reading  Too far?
