Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, Really trivial question but...am in process of buying a 996 C2 aerokit coupe in zenith blue. It has Sport classic II wheels on it which will be refurbed. I was wondering about colour options: 1. Stick with factory silver 2. have the centres in anthracite 3. Weiss gold for the centres or perhaps the whole wheel? Am leaning toward weiss gold but not sure if will be a bit much and does anyone have any pics of zenith with gold wheels? Thanks for your thoughts!

POST 2Original post

Not exactly the same but have a troll through my thread below for various different styles and colours of wheels on a Zenith. Link in my sig. I had a set of gold centred wheels and it looked good. I think a light grey would look best IMO.

Weiss gold centres for sure. IMO it's subtle / classy without being in-your-face. No joy with zenith blue pictures. But another blue... https://rennlist.com/forums/attachm...eels-screen-shot-2021-11-07-at-6.36.21-pm.png https://rennlist.com/forums/attachm...eels-screen-shot-2021-11-07-at-6.36.09-pm.png

Thanks! Thanks everyone for the pics and thoughts! Coullstar - thanks for highlighting your thread and may I say how grateful I am to you for trying out every single wheel design on a 996 so we don't have to! They all looked good in their way but I think the gold looked great so leaning toward gold of some sort. I'm already embarrassed at how long I've spent poring over pictures trying to decide  Thanks again everyone -will post some pics once I've got it.

POST 10Original post

It's one of the Fiat bronzes with some matting agent added. I don't know the exact bronze. It's something the wheel guy kept to himself.

POST 11Original post

Works really well. Notice you have all red rears as well, nice subtle mod.

Weiss gold Hi all, Went for Weiss gold in the end and picked up this lovely car from MLR Porsche yesterday. Hopefully attached some pics!

Looks great - especially with that aero kit, very nice.
